Hi, I'm Sunni (that's prounouced like sunny), The Cupcake Goddess. What is The Cupcake Goddess, you may ask? It's a small space of the world built on principles of frivolity and fun. No, I don't make cupcakes all the time or even eat them everyday, but I do believe that cupcakes are a wonderful treat to give ourselves once in awhile when we are in need of some small trifle to give us a smile. That's what this blog is all about. Trifles for smiles from our inner goddesses.
I'm a musician turned psychotic seamstress who obsesses about fabric in a very crazy way. I work as a secretary by day and lead a wannabe cowboyish career as an artistic designer by night. I'm married to the mysterious and roguish Mr. S who is a composer, obsessed and completely nuts for me and we live in a little palace where we hope that someday we will be what we dream.
I started this little world in 2007 where I didn't have any idea where my road would lead and what adventures awaited me and I still don't know, as a matter of fact. I try to write about what gives me daily inspiration and sometimes that's difficult as somedays I'm just not inspired. I'm like you, and just trying to be that thing I've always wanted to be. One day at a time. My cupcake goddess says, "Walk confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you've always imagined." (Something very much like Thoreau wrote) I hope my corner block gives you ideas, dreams and creativity. May a cupcake cross your path today and by golly, you'd better eat it!
